ATOTU - Free the Hulk 2

The three heroes left, but didn't get far. A man with a black mask on his face stopped them.

Wolverine: "Move it, bub!"

But the being didn't move away. Instead, he moved closer.

Wolverine: "Are you insane, bub?"

The being smiled. He stopped moving forward but pressed something on his chest.

Bruce Banner: "Oh no."

Spider-Man: "Did you just say, 'Oh no'?"

Bruce Banner: "Yes I did."

Wolverine: "What is there to fear about this guy? Does he -" *Wolverine sniffs the air* "The air…it's toxic."

Spider-Man: "Care to tell us what the 'Oh no' is for?"

Bruce Banner, pointing at the being: "Just watch."

The being then fell to his knees, screaming. Then he began to grow, gaining enormous muscles.

Wolverine: "What the hell?"

The transformation was complete. The strong being stomped towards them.

Bruce Banner: "Friends, meet Bane."

Spider-Man: "Oh no."

Wolverine: "Bruce, I know you'll hate me for saying this, but we need the green guy right now."

Bruce Banner: "What? No!"

Wolverine: "What do you mean, 'No'?"

Spider-Man: "Uh, guys?"

Bruce Banner: "It's too dangerous to become that thing!"

Wolverine: "Do you think that I care? Do you think that thing over there cares either?"

Bruce Banner: "I still won't do it!"

Spider-Man: "GUYS!!"

Wolverine and Bruce looked to see Bane standing right there, his arms ready to crush them.

Wolverine: "Damn."

Bane smashed his arms to the ground. The three heroes jumped out of the way.

Wolverine: "Still don't want to be the green guy?"

Bruce Banner looked at Bane, then to the ground, then back at Wolverine.

Bruce Banner: "Cover me."

Wolverine smiled and went to face Bane with Spider-Man right behind him. Bane accepted the
challenge.

The two heroes fought Bane for a good while. Bruce watched as they were pummeled by Bane
over and over again, but they kept getting back up.

Bruce Banner: "Come on, Wolverine, he thought. Keep going, Spider-Man! You can-AGH!!"

Without knowing it, someone stabbed him in the back. He fell to the ground, gasping for air.

Bruce Banner: "Who…who are you?"

Stranger: "You thought you could hide when you were out of your Hulk form?"

The being stepped in front of him and smiled. Bruce looked up and grew scared.

Bruce Banner: "General…Zod…"

General Zod: "Yes. It is me. Are you ready to die?"

Wolverine: "Oh no you didn't!"

Wolverine attacked Zod from behind. Zod barely made it out of the way.

General Zod: "So, you think you can challenge me?"

Wolverine: "With my hands tied behind my back, bub."

Wolverine and Zod charged at each other. Spider-Man kept swinging out of the way of Bane's swings. And Bruce Banner lay on the ground helpless.

And then the transformation began.

Both Zod and Bane was too busy to notice as they fought with Wolverine and Spider-Man. But all of them stopped when they heard an earth-shaking yell.

They all turned to see the Hulk towering over them.

Hulk: "HULK SMASH HULK'S ENEMIES!!!!!"

He jumped at Bane and Zod, smashing them both to the ground. Zod quickly left while Bane tried to fight back.

But the Hulk was too strong for Bane. The Hulk kept Bane on the ground as he smashed him to bits.

Hulk: "HULK IS THE STRONGEST!!!!"

Wolverine: "Hey! Green guy!"

The Hulk turned to see Spider-Man and Wolverine standing there.

Wolverine: "I don't care how strong you are, but we need to get back to base right now! Fury's under attack!"

The Hulk looked at Bane, then back to his friends, and then punched Bane one last time.

Hulk: "STAY DOWN, LITTLE MAN!"

And with that, the Hulk leapt away from the fallen Bane. Wolverine and Spider-Man followed him.

Spider-Man: "Aren't we going in the wrong direction?"

Wolverine: "It's alright. We can tell him that after he's calmed down."

Spider-Man: "If he ever does."

And the three Marvel Heroes left the scene.

Zod looked over the wreckage of his base. Bane still lay on the ground.

General Zod: "Bane will return eventually. In the meantime, I should plan for my conquest on the Marvel Universe."
