Hades vs Dr. Facilier: DEALING WITH DEITIES

RIVER STYX, TARTARUS

A lone figure rides on the River Styx. He was hoping to get to his place soon. He was late.
"Cant you go any faster?" he asked the skeleton being known as Chiron.
"I will try, master," he responded.
"Jeeze-loweeze, I'm gonna be sooo late!" muttered Hades.

HADES'S LAIR, TARTARUS

As soon as Hades reaches the shore, he immediately heads to the meeting room. Pain and Panic come down the stares to inform him, but they trip over each other and fall flat on their faces. Hades stopped and rolled his eyes.
"You know, I'm just going to guess that I'm already late," he said.
"Unfortunately, yes," whined Pain, as he got back up.
"Well, I guess that's just how it will be," said Hades. "My goodness, I'm always late when I come from a party."

--

"…and that is my plan to take Zeus down," Hades finished.
The Fates looked at each other. The smallest one spoke first.
"And do you have an idea of who this magician will be?"
Hades then looked nervous.
"Surely you have some idea," the tallest Fate said.
"Well," Hades started, "I was actually hoping that you three could tell us who would be best."
The three Fates looked at each other. Their faces were those of uncertainty.
"We can't inform you of anyone," said the tall Fate.
"Awe, come on," said the middle one, "Can't we tell him about -"
"No. NO. We are not going to tell him about Dr. Facilier!" the tallest Fate shouted. She then grasped her mouth, realizing that she revealed the secret.
The shortest one shook her head. "I feel like this won't be the only time that you'll do that."
"Dr. Facilier?" asked Hades. "Who is he? How can he help?"
The Fates looked at each other. There was no point in hiding him now.
The smallest Fate decided to act, saying, "Alright. We'll tell you about him."
The smallest Fate removed her eye and let it float. It glowed in the chamber and the three Fates circled around it. The middle Fate spoke.
"In the land of the Free, there is a place called New Orleans. And there lives a witch doctor known as Dr. Facilier-"
"A witch doctor?" Hades interjected. "That's perfect! I got to get to him right away!"
And he left before the Fates could finish their story.

DR. FACILIER'S VOODOO EMPORIUM, NEW ORLEANS

"And that's one more victim to my power," said Facilier as he headed back to his home.
His shadow smiled, but stopped. Dr. Facilier took notice.
"What is it? What do you sense?"
"That's one neat shadow."
Both Facilier and his shadow looked into the direction of Hades. He was up on a balcony leaning on a railing.
"I really enjoy it."
Facilier frowned. He didn't like this. Hades flew down and landed on his feet.
"Hello there, my name is Hades, Lord of the Dead. How are you doin'?"
"Just tell me what you want," said Facilier. He didn't like being around Hades. It was a different god than what he worshiped.
"Ok, fine. Listen, I have a brother named Zeus, you know that, right? Anyway, I'm trying to get rid of him, and friends of mine said that you are the best man for the job."
"Your friends?" asked Facilier. "What friends?"
"The Fates. Now, will you help me?"
"No."
Hades was surprised at how quickly Facilier responded to that question.
"I never told you the actual plan yet -"
"The answer is no! I have my own gods, now leave!"
Hades felt insulted.
"Well, then," he started, "it seems like you have quite a life ahead of you. You being all 'high and mighty' and all that jazz."
Now Dr. Facilier felt insulted.
"What did you say?"
He turned to see Hades leaving in his chariot. He watched with hatred in his eyes.
You won't get away with that remark, Facilier thought. And I know just who to go to for help...

HADES'S LAIR, TARTARUS

Hades paced in his Throne Room, still confused at what happened.
"Well that failed. Who do I go to now? Maybe Maleficent could help me. I mean, we are dating, and helping each other is, well, helpful."
"Maybe you could ask Jafar?" thought Pain.
"Or maybe Madam Mim?" added Panic.
"Or the Horned King!" added Pain.
But before Hades could shut them up, the room started to shake.
"What is this?" asked Hades. "What's going on?"
"I don't know," said Pain and Panic.
Just then, the wall at the far end of the room exploded.
"What the Tartarus?" Hades shouted.
Suddenly, Facilier slid through the wall!
"How did you get here?" shouted Hades. "What are you doing?"
"I have plans of my own, you know!" Facilier shouted back. "And that includes taking you out! Shadows!"
Suddenly, two shadowy figures came from the opening and rushed over the walls. Both of them made contact with Hades' shadow and Hades found himself being thrown back without getting hit. He got flung back into the River Styx.
And when he tried to get back out, Facilier was blocking his way.
"Where do you think you're going?" he asked.
He stepped on Hades' hand and Hades fell back into the River Styx.
Facilier smiled.
"Now then," he started. "Let's get things rollin'!"

RIVER STYX, TARTARUS

Deep in the River Styx, Hades hit the river bottom. He didn't die, for he can't. Only another god could get rid of him, or at least that's what he believed.
So he sat there for a while, pondering what to do. And all the while, he would think one thought.
I will get you, Facilier. Make no mistake about that.

If I may:
Hade's dialog doesn't flow quite right, infact neither does Facilier's.

Facilier doesn't so much "worship" the Voodoo spirits so much as work for them (and is indebted to them). A more character-accurate reasoning for him denying Hade's offer wuld be that he can't ally himself with another dark-deity while his still paying for the power he bought from his current masters... Wait no that wouldn't happen either. Seeing as Hade's is the lord of the dead and Facilier needs human souls to pay his debts, Hade's could easily win him over by offering to pay his debt off in full (He's a buisnessman-like character, so he'd probably do something like that) and Facilier would jump right on that. His "Friends on the Other Side" wouldn't mind it either, they don't much care what their minions do, so long as they get what they want.
