Ursula vs Ratcliffe: On Stranger Tides!

LONDON PORTS, ENGLAND

Ratcliffe looked at the charts with Mr. Wiggins. He was very displeased.
"There is no way on Earth that I can get anywhere with the seas so violent," he said. "Trade for England with most countries has stopped, and I'm sure that other countries are facing the same problem."
"Do you know why the oceans are acting so strange?" Mr. Wiggins asked.
"I actually don't," Ratcliffe responded. "Rumor has it that a Sea Witch has taken over, however I highly doubt that."
"Governor Ratcliffe."
Ratcliffe turned to the door to see one of his men there.
"Yes, John Smith, what is it?"
"It's Prince John, sir," he responded. "He has requested an audience with you."
"Me?" he asked. "But, what would he…never mind that. I have to go, no matter what it is. Smith, I'm putting you in charge until I return."
"Yes, Governor."
And with that, Ratcliffe left the room.

NOTTINGHAM PALACE, ENGLAND

In his castle in Nottingham, Prince John and Sir Hiss looked over the construction of a new wall that was destroyed during the battle with Pete.
"This is a total loss," Prince John muttered. "I had to put so much money into creating this new wall."
"Indeed, sire," Sir Hiss said. "It is a shame…"
"Your Highness…"
The two looked back to see the Sheriff.
"Ah, good Sheriff," Prince John welcomed. "What is it?"
"It's Ratcliffe, your Highness. He's answered your message and he eagerly awaits you."
"Then I'll go to him at once," the prince exclaimed as he left with the Sheriff.

"So let me get this straight," Ratcliffe said as he poured himself a glass of wine, "you want me to head out into the sea and take out this sea witch?"
He looked back at Prince John, who was sitting on his thrown. He nodded.
"That's a suicide!"
"Nothing is easy anymore," Prince John agreed, "but I must ask you to do this."
"Why don't you call up that Hook fellow?" Ratcliffe asked as he sat down to drink his wine. "He knows how to deal with sea creatures and sorcerers. We were in the same faction in the Great Villains War, and he took care of some of the villains himself, including the powerful Black Wolf."
"Hook's dead."
Ratcliffe stopped drinking and put the glass down.
"Are you sure?"
"I already sent Hook to deal with Ursula, but he has failed."
Ratcliffe thought for a moment, and then decided.
"I will prepare my men," he said as he stood.
"That's the spirit!" Prince John cheered.
"I shall go on this mission," said Ratcliffe, "and soon, I will take Hook's title as the most feared captain on the planet!"
"And you won't be just a captain," Prince John chuckled, "But you will become general of my Naval Fleet!"
"That would be an honor," Ratcliffe gasped.
"Now go, Ratcliffe!" Prince John shouted. "Go and claim your destiny!"
"I will," Ratcliffe said as he bowed and left.
Finally, Ratcliffe thought, I'll be popular!

ENGLISH CHANNEL

The seas were under constant storms. Hurricanes ruled the skies. And only a few captains would dare cross them at such dangerous times, which is why Ratcliffe thought this would boost his public profile up much more.
"Secure the sails," he shouted over the roaring winds. "Keep a straight course, Smith!"
"Yes, captain," John shouted. Another crewmember joined Smith at the helm, followed by two others.
"John," Thomas shouted over the winds, "the cannons are getting loose and help is needed!"
"Alright," John said. "Ben, take the helm. Thomas, you and Lon come with me."
"MOUNTAIN OFF THE STARBORD BOW!!"
Everyone looked in the direction that the sailor in the crow's nest shouted down below. They shouted for joy when they saw land.
Except that land was moving.
It can't be… Ratcliffe thought. …could it?
"It's Ursula!" he shouted. "Everyone to their battle positions, quickly!"
"You heard him, men," John shouted as he and the others quickly ran to the cannons, "get ready to have some fun!"
"YOU FOOLS!"
The voice came from the sea witch who was closing in on her.
"YOU THINK YOU CAN DEFEAT ME? NOT EVEN HOOK COULS STOP ME!"
"But we will," Ratcliffe shouted. "FIRE!"
The cannons sounded, but the force of the wind was too much and the cannons fell before they could reach her.
"I PITY YOU FOOLS," Ursula shouted. "BEGONE!"
A huge wave came and hit the ship, almost capsizing it. The front of the ship was almost destroyed, but it still stayed afloat. Ursula laughed at the sight.
Ratcliffe, still shaken, looked at the front of the ship and saw how much destruction that one wave caused. Why, someone could get impaled by the wood…
And then Ratcliffe got an idea.
"Ben, drive the ship straight at her!"
"Aye aye, captain," Ben shouted as he turned the helm.
Ursula kept laughing and never paid attention to the ship. The ship got closer, and she never noticed until she heard someone shout:
"Drive it right through her heart!"
She turned to see what was going on and stopped dead. The front of the ship went straight through her!
"NOOOOOOOOOO!!!"
She shouted as she fell into the sea. Her body shrunk considerably, and then she was forever lost to the sea.
The men looked on and cheered. Ratcliffe smiled proudly.
"Excellent work, men," he said to them. "This has been a great and glorious day! Smith, I want you to find everyone a mug and fill each one with rum!"
"Aye aye, sir," John said happily as he left along with a few others anxious to get started.
"And the rest of you," he said, "enjoy yourselves!"
"Aye aye, sir!" they shouted back and cheered.
Ratcliffe smiled and left to his quarters.
A glorious day indeed…

DEEP IN THE ENGLISH CHANNEL

Far below the water's surface, the trident floated down to the bottom of the sea. It gently landed on the sea bottom.
A being who had been watching the entire fight swam to it. She was unhappy.
"Poor Ursula," she said as she grasped the trident for herself, "Poor, poor sister. You will not die in vain."
